Darian Bianco currently works as an adjunct professor teaching English at Eastern Kentucky University. She holds an MFA from the Bluegrass Writers Studio, and her short story, “Rider” was selected by author Gabriel Bump for the Emerging Writers Award in Fiction during the Bluegrass Writers Studio Summer Residency in 2020. She is also a graduate of the 2022-2023 season of the Author’s Academy at the Carnegie Center, having worked with Ashley Blooms. Her novel-in-progress, Chatter, was one of five winners for issue six of Novel Slices.
