Where do your workshops take place?

On your computer screen. For our live workshops, you’ll need a reliable internet connection and a computer that can handle lightweight streaming.

Okay, so I enrolled for a live webinar or workshop. What’s the next step?

You will find your Zoom link in the course information. Your course information can be found in your My Courses section of the website.

If you don’t have Zoom, you’ll need to install the Zoom client. You can download it here.

What is a typical workshop like?

It varies. Most workshops are comprised of an hour or two of instructor lecture followed by 30 minutes of free-form Q&A between students and instructor.

For our asynchronous workshops, we use Google Classroom as our LMS interface.

What do I need to know about your webinars being recorded?

We do record our live webinars. We always make the recordings available to everyone enrolled in the webinar and sometimes place them for sale on our website as on demand services. Please review the Recording Notice section of our Privacy Policy.

If you wish to maintain your anonymity and take our workshops, you can do so as we do not require our students to appear on video or speak or use their real name.

What can I expect afterward?

Some instructors provide slides and resource documents. Reach Your Apex will link the recording in the class section for the webinar under My Courses. You’ll also receive an email from us about upcoming workshops and a workshop feedback form.

I need to withdraw my enrollment?

First, let us know via email or our contact form. Most of the time you’ll be refunded if you send the request several days before the workshop. Please see our refund policy for more details.

I’m interested in becoming a Reach Your Apex instructor. How do I apply?

We’re honored that you want to join our rotating staff of instructors! Fill out our Instructor Query form and we’ll be in touch.

I would like to recommend a workshop topic. Who should I contact?

We love hearing from potential students and want to bring the workshops you’re wanting to take to you. If you want to see us run a workshop on a particular subject or topic please fill out our Workshop Recommendation form.

Do you offer scholarships to your workshops and webinars?

If you’re interested in attending a live webinar or workshop but can’t afford the enrollment fee, contact us. No questions asked, no explanations required.

What is your affiliation with Apex Magazine and Apex Book Company?

Reach Your Apex was originally founded by the owner of Apex Magazine and Apex Book Company, Jason Sizemore. In January of 2025, Jason sold Reach Your Apex to the current owner, Kirsten Lambertsen.

While there is now some collaboration and cooperation between Reach Your Apex and Apex Magazine and Apex Book Company, the companies are separate and independent from each other. Apex Magazine and Apex Book Company are not responsible for the actions of Reach Your Apex, and vice versa.
