Not writing related, but we finally had some snow in these parts! A solid three inches have fallen in Lexington, KY. I find the quiet beauty of nighttime snow to be inspirational. Is there anything prettier than watching snow fall backlit by a porch light or street lamp?

You can use Markdown syntax to easily move your writing to webpages and blogs, into word processing applications such as Word or Scrivener, and even use it for building ebooks. We’ll talk about what you need to write in Markdown (surprisingly little), where you can take it (almost anywhere), and how writing in Markdown can help you speed up your writing by helping you focus on your words, rather than how it appears on your screen.
